I’m off to see a dear old friend and do a little heritage exploring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to get a picture of all the state welcome signs, but came up short on Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire, then I took a side trip to Salem, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My best friend and author Peter Cherici and Lexy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter’s partner Nancy and my daughter from another mother Sara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The photo above was taken in Salem, Massachusetts and that is the heritage part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently received information on my connection to the Salem Witch Trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My 8th great-grandmother Mary Towne Estey was hanged on September 22, 1692.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And my 8th great aunt Rebecca Nurse, Mary’s daughter, was hanged on July 19, 1692.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My grandmother Ida C Chapman Bruce is the connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just another wild ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way back I visited my sister Laura in Denver and we went troll hunting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
