I was adopted as an infant by circus side show performers Al and Jeanie Tomaini, and grew up in Gibsonton, FL, a small town south of Tampa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was75 percent circus and carnival families, and the only place at the time you could have your elephants in your back yard.
When my sister and mom got in touch, I was 45 and ready to learn all I could.
I learned most of my mom’s side lived and are buried in NM, where I now reside.
My father’s info is New England, and I am still learning about him and that side of my heritage.
